There you are Dan, I offered to run you for $500 on another thread but not on the road(LACR). If you want to run the canyons, how about Palomar mountain? After all if you beat TT's all time it wouldnt matter where we race at. I really don't know why I should waste my time on a car that traps under a 100 in the 1/4, but I will.
Im sorry to say BlackTT your knowledge on 1/4mi racing is horrid. I was going to post in TTTToast but since i was here i'll do it here. You said the lower the 60's the lower the trap speed. What the heck kind of sense does that make?:lol:I guess thats why my mach 1 got a 1.97 60' and trapped at over 107. I should have bogged out so i would raise my 60' and trap higher 60's are just too see how well you get traction and how you come off the line. The TT's do so well in the 1/4 because of the AWD launch. Just like a wrx. I beat a modded wrx "dont try to tell me that audi TT's are faster than modded wrx's" with a stock buick regal GS at a 40mph roll but from a dig he would destroy me.The buick trapped higher than the wrx. Even that guy that was into the 13's with his TT was only trapping at 98mph. Still not impressive. The crossfires trap at a higher speed than the TT making the XF faster car.
You have us in the 1st 60' that is it. Take that away and you would see the XF taillights every time Stock vs stock. a 10mph roll race would show this. SO please stop talking like you are the most educated car person here because you are making a fool out of yourself.
Ok I never said I was an expert, and if I remember correctly I'm sure I said "I think" not I know. But this is the way I understand it, when you lower your 60ft times you will see a lower ET but at the same time your trap speed will also go down because you made it through the 1/4 by a quicker time not through extra speed. Have you ever seen a STI at the track? Here is what they look like.

60ft: 1.86
1/8 mile: 8.67
1/8 mph: 82 mph
1/4 mile: 13.51 @ 99.8 mph

My car runs a very low 14 but traps over a 100mph(remember I'm FWD) Maybe you or someone else can explain why I'm wrong instead of name calling.

And who cares about stock for stock, anyone who races a 1.8t should know about a chip or at least a MBC. If they don't then they shouldnt be racing.
