Hopefully not a big deal, but with the hood up and the engine running today, I heard a noise similar to a belt fss, fss, fss, fss, fss, fss, fss, fss... You know, it's that sound you hear from old belts on cars with lots of miles on them. Well, that's fine and dandy, but my car only has 15k on it, and to my ear, the sound was coming from the passenger side, aft portion of the engine near the intake manifold. It's definitely something rotating. Oil level is normal and everything seems normal.

Ideas, suggestions? I really don't want to take it to a hackership, but I don't want an internal bearing to go out either. The sound is faint and only audible with the hood up. It sounds like a belt, but in an area where there is no belt.
