we use craftsman also with some snap on mixed in. for the crossfire it was recommended by benz shops for us to use the lisle torx's as the socket lenght/base width was much more forgiving on mercedes.

a decent craftsman kit and those torx's can get you to looking at pistons on the car

buy tools for the long run, so long they dont get borrowed and not returned you will be glad you got the good stuff.
