Yes, I know that the 225/50/16 are smaller than the factory 19's outside diameter. However, the manual recommends 225/40/18 all around for winter driving, and the 225/50/16 is about the same OD. The speedo will be off a bit, but if the factory says it is ok than I will go by it. I would have personally gone with a 55 in the rear if I was putting the wheel/tire package together myself but I got the set for cheap off of fleabay.
