If you can get a Red Top Optima that fits, yes, as opposed to the Yellow Top. I want to put a Red Top in mine. When I do, I will be carefully comparing the battery case size and terminal sizes so that I can get one that still fits in the tray and clamps down tight, and the terminals fit properly (positive and negative on the proper sides, terminal post sizes fit terminals).
