its a bit too dark and noisy to try it now because the alarm will sound trying to get bonnet open. 10pm GMT here. I'll have to try in the morning.

I assume that the reason it starts and stalls is just the immobiliser doing its job? I guess unless you disable alarm you cant disable the immobiliser. I can also ring Chrysler in the morning too, but my experience with mechanics in the past has been quite fruitless with other cars!

I cannot believe this can happen?! Whats the point in having a key AND keyless entry if the key is no use? Surely putting key in ignition should cancel alarm, after all, if you have teh key you can have the car?

What do those two fuses do?
