Well wait just a sec.....
Rotex are not ceramic - at least the standard ones.
I use the Posi Quiet which are the same as Rotex Gold, just maunfactured for a different "brand". They are a blend os Semi Metalic material and Kevlar.
Ceramic versions are available but they do not have the stoppoing power of the factory or quality semi metalic pads. Ceramic loast a very long time and produce very little dust (usually tan compared to the usual dark gray)
BTW Rotex calls their ceramic pads "Rotex Ceramicool"
