I know I have heard others say they have (I think Valky did it) but I could not find anywhere locally to do mine, so I got new ones...

Let's face it they make more money on a new set of rotors. When rotors started being shipped already machined to size they probably ditched them.

Some small shops still have them I'm sure, but the machine must be in good shape.

I think a light lick on both sides would be good at least once. It would be a shame to toss a rotor that had a slight warp in it.
