Nope. Do the homework. The detectors between ~$100-$200 claim protection from Radar Detector Detectors but...
VG-2 Radar Detector Detectors are obsolete, no longer used, hence the feature offered by this unit is worthless... The detector they protect against is obsolete and no longer used by law enforcement...Not a very useful protection.
One choice for the most undetectible radar detector is the BEL STi Driver.

If cost is no object you can get a version that is installed in the grill and concealed - twice the price. And for another $1500 you can get a killer Laser Jammer (not yet illegal).
In my experience the STi Driver has not been detected, provides very long distance alerts, and has saved me from Laser (when I was behind a large group of traffic that were the target of a Laser trap before I reached it).
Not cheap but hugely outperforms the cheap stuff. And it's made in Canada!
