I think folks just dont understand the car, it had poor marketing from the begining. The Chrysler branded cars (to me) allways seemed to depreciate quickly in the UK due to a poor reputation for quality. The Chysler name has been given to some naff cars over the years (Chrysler Avenger, Chysler Imp, etc).
The fact that our Chrysler is buit on a M/Benz platform should give confience, but folks seem to be even more confused about its pedigree. Most motorists dont understand how incestouse the industry is in supplying its components to other makers, (Porsche 924 has a Volvo engine)
If it had the M.B. badge on the hood its value would have been sustained, but, then it would have cost double when new!
Cars! the curse of mankind!

Steve,

I used to own a Chrysler Avenger and it was crap, things have moved on a bit with the Crossfire and I think the car is ACE!

Ps, my wife drives the Crossfire most of the time and she says if I sell it she will divorce me, now that's always an option should the going get tough.
