A freind had his V8 Range Rover converted to LPG recently for approx £1200. A V6 costs about £900 so this could be an option but the tank would take up space in the boot!
LPG is a red herring in the "alternative fuel" market. LPG relies on fossil fuels just as much a petrol or diesel.
