i was reading this on another forum for mx-6 about water to air intercooler versus air to air
"there great for more drag only situations, but they tend to get heat soaked quickly if your car is a daily driver. i deal with air to water set ups litterally daily, and most of the time we try to convert them over to a air to air for reliability purposes.
but its all personal preference. and its totally up to you what you run."
other argue and show the benefits but say there is more parts in a water to air setup

). The turbo will leave a lot more room for a water to air intercooler, its much easier to test the boost limits, no parasitic drag on the crank, etc...
If the motor ever blows I'm sure something much more user friendly would take its place.
