Did you notice the 60’ difference between phantom grip and no phantom grip, NOT THAT BIG. IMO, slicks are over rated and not need at this point for most of us. I’m pulling 1.8xx 60’ with no phantom and no slicks. I know how many tenths each mod subtracted from my times (intake, pulley, tune, HE, pump, spacers/gasket), so in theory with amx1397 the intake is worth at least 2 tenths

I will also agree. Although they may be nice options, the phantom grip and slicks aren't needed for me either at this point.....I had to get new tires (vredsessnata's ultac <-spelling) and im hoping I can launch the same with these tires. Fingers crossed. If not, they are coming right off, getting sold and I'll spend a bit more and go back to the Toyo's.
