Blown Supercharger and Highway MPG
Well nothing like blowing your supercharger while on a road trip that can result in great HW MPG. While traveling the mountains of NC and Tenn this weekend my supercharger stoped working. Thought at first it was a transmission thing. Car bucking while going uphill. Figured out it was the Super kicking in and than immediately stopping. Original IC pump so I am thinking it could be that.
Well limping home to Florida at 60 mph the whole way, 29.8 MPG. 420 miles on the tank before the light comes on. Too bad we don't have a on off switch for HW travel...
The dealer has it today, should be interesting to see how they deal with it. Thank god it is still under warranty.
By the way, 2200 miles in 2 days...
