sounds reasonable to me. that's about what it's worth if he's going to make at least $6,000 profit, while he can finance the car to a customer you most likely can't, so you will find it difficult to sell the srt private party as most people will not waste $18-$20k cash on your used srt6, especially in this economy.
I personally would not buy an SRT6 at $10k if I had the cash burning a hole in my pocket, there are many more options out there idle cash!

I'm not blowing smoke up my own as_, either. If that's where the market for SRT's is at then I see no reason to sell mine until it becomes not much more than a rust bucket or the prices begin to be sensible again. Hell, let the vast unwashed car buying public have their Accords then; I'll stick with class, style, reliability & power.
