So, what you are saying is that those 8 wires (blue, brown, green and white) on the right are going to be used only if I decide on another amp and when I connect the Scosche plug to all those other wires I will be still be using the the amp already in the car?

I have the Nav Unit with Infinity upgraded system I want to use. The only thing I want from this unit is the head, but I'm totally unfamiliar with car stereos. It does require the antenna adaptor (which I already have) as I tried to set up an FM transmitter, but I'm totally unhappy with the sound.

I want to hook a backup camera to the unit, use it to pair with my iphone 3G and stream audio via bluetooth or better yet, use the iphone 3g like an ipod-I haven't found a unit that will admit to streaming with the iPhone much less operate through the ipod connection.
