LePie, you are correct with your current tire setup. If you wish to drive safely in the snow, you need a second set of tires and patience. I put limited wheels with snow tires mounted on them in November and put the pilots back on in March or April. This is the only way to feel secure (IMHO) when driving in the snow. If you only get snow once or twice a year, this would not be worth it for you but I drive 15-20K miles a year no matter what the climate.
On another not, hows the exhast and sound doing? I'm still looking but close to pulling the trigger on a change myself.
