waylander, welcome to a great forum and hopefully all of your questions will be answered. I would strongly suggest that you drive one first.....not just the usual short test drive, but take it out and drive it the way you normally drive the Lightning. I think most folks immediately look at the horsepower numbers and think they are getting shortchanged. While there is no replacement for horsepower and torque, gearing will do an incredible amount to overcome those shortcomings. It depends on the type of driving you do....whether stuck in heavy traffic most of the time, or long high-speed runs are the norm. But I would say that you can definitely put all the power available on the road, much easier than you can in the Lightning.
