what i have been told, is the reason the NW intake makes the supercharger louder, is the aluminum tubing resonates the sound. i would think using aluminum tubes on the SL55 would do the same, but perhaps the airboxes catch a lot of the resonance anyway.... i KNOW there is a more efficient solution to the SL55 intake.(not that it isn't pretty sweet already!)
