I wouldn't trust the dealer on everything. The tires pressure sensors were put in those wheels for a reason. They have shallow tires, and if the pressure isn't ideal, it's going to affect the performance of the car and also the tire wear. Does it have stock tires and wheels on it? If it does, I would buy my own tire guage and keep the tires at 33 and 32#.
