I like the way the Xbrakes work on the Intrepid but they dont have any protective coating apparently. Here is the pic of the front brake rotor on the Intrepid after a few months of use. Note the rust on the non-wear surfaces. This is the same thing most/all factory rotors do. The PoweDisk slotted rotors that I put on the SRT6 do NOT rust like this. I dont know what kind of fishish they have but they have a light goldish tarnish to them in the non-wear areas. Looks kind of nice. They have been on just a little longer than the Xbrakes. I hope your Disk Italias have a protective finish too.
