My car is a daily driver but not in the rain if I can help it. It may sound strange but in the year and a half I have owned it, I have only washed it about four times. I detail it after every two days driving it to work etc. When you wash it, no matter how hard you try to avoid it, you put minor scratches in the paint during washing and drying. There are numerous things you can do to help keep them at a minimum but the best routine I have found is to wipe it down after each drive or two. The person that had all the Vipers does the exact same thing. I have a very long list of particulars I won't bore everyone with but maybe sometime I may write them down for those who are interested. I have been showing cars for a lot of years and used to live right outside of Carlisle Pa. and learned a lot over the years showing there.

This would be an interesting thread for the detailing section of the forum. I know I am always looking for detailing tips and new products especially from an experienced car show guy. I am most interested in your scratch remover paintball method that you mentioned. I will look forward to hearing more. Thanks Steve.
