WhoooHooo Again!!!
My car is a daily driver but not in the rain if I can help it. It may sound strange but in the year and a half I have owned it, I have only washed it about four times. I detail it after every two days driving it to work etc. When you wash it, no matter how hard you try to avoid it, you put minor scratches in the paint during washing and drying. There are numerous things you can do to help keep them at a minimum but the best routine I have found is to wipe it down after each drive or two. The person that had all the Vipers does the exact same thing. I have a very long list of particulars I won't bore everyone with but maybe sometime I may write them down for those who are interested. I have been showing cars for a lot of years and used to live right outside of Carlisle Pa. and learned a lot over the years showing there.
I will try the posting for pictures again as last night did not work.

This part of your post caught my attention as a detailing fanatic. Can you give us some details and instruction on how you accomplished your prep.? I am always struggling with polishing paint and especially paint touch up trying to keep my cars looking like new or better. Is you Xfire a daily driver as well as show car? I would like to take my coupe to some local shows if I could get it looking "show ready".

This is a very rare Superbird with a pistol grip 4 speed. It was won 30 years ago in a poker game in El Paso Texas then went to Wisconsin for a lot of years. Eventually found itself in Kentucky where the current owners bought it and brought it back to Texas. It is restored to Barret Jackson quality and said to have a value of $400,000.

I know what you mean! I am having a hard time keeping my SRT6 and not getting an SRT10 or GTS Viper. Their prices have dropped worse than ours!!!! I fight the decision EVERY DAY~
Thanks Kurts along with everyone else. Small things like this somewhat keeps the interest in the Crossfire alive. I wish I lived closer to Carlisle. Funny to say as I lived there all my life till four years ago.
