As to your ideas for the 'next generation rocket mobile' I STILL love the looks of the Firepower and the Audi R8 comes close.
That long hood suggests like maybe it's got a V12 under there somewhere, the low-to-the-ground look bespeaks of a car that can glue itself to the road.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of sharp, angular lines on any car. Everytime I see some, and I know this is just me, I think of Cadillac fins.
