I've always wanted to see the next Crossfire get more muscular, more powerful...Perhaps it could be built on a shortened 300c/Challenger platform with a 500hp supercharged Hemi V8!
Any ideas guys? ...Let's design Xfire2.0 together! It would be a great way to spend your taxpayer dollars

Just wanted to say that I've followed your work for a long time and really appreciate your talent and your designs! I have been a car guy since I was able to walk; actually, I attended my first NHRA drag race before I could walk! I still remember the first time I saw the Crossfire concept. That was back when Chrysler was known for putting near concepts in the showrooms. I was awestruck by the Crossfire with the vertical headlights and the retro themed split window. I was a bit disappointed however, when the street version came out with the completely redone face. It grew on me and I knew one day I would get my hands on one. What a unique experience it is to be able to converse with a designer of your car and one who still has passion for one of his creations!
In a way I'm glad that there was only one version of the Xfire because my car will always be the most recent!

I'd really like to see the Crossfire 2.0 though. As for the platform, I'm not sure about the LX. I think it's too big, too heavy, and just not competative with the other offerings. The new Xfire would have to be light, very powerful, and be able to maintain good gas milage. Too bad the merger is over, otherwise the new SLK platform would have been a good fit.
P.S. I see a little nod to the Xfire in the Genesis coupe by the way. That crossing feature is noticeable on the door/fender area. :-)
Nice to meet you Eric
