Allright guys, I'm getting some great feedback about what Xfire 2.0 should be. Some of you liked the idea of putting it on the LX platform, but more of you seem to like the idea of keeping it light and nimble, dare I say Vette-like? We should definitely keep it cab-rearward and even enhance the long hood.
Since the Daimler merger is dead, maybe there's a chassis we could pull out of the Fiat/Alfa/Maserati stable! Any ideas?
Another possibility is to take advantage of Chrysler's upcoming deal (Dodge EV) with Lotus and build a mid-engined super-hybrid...
All of course using your taxpayer dollars...

As politicaly correct and marketable as a super hybrid might seem.....
Wouldn't that eliminate the concept of light and nimble?
On the other hand, an EV that is truly fast and nimble would bust the marketing barrier that all electrics and hybrids have to be clunky. Or look
efficient.
That said, Concept is one thing, Engineering is something else.
