Default Check Your Engine for Oil Leak

A common problem with the xFire is a leaking valve cover (usually drivers side). There are other links on this webpage <search>. I just had my fixed yesterday under warranty (River Oaks Chrysler Houston, Texas). It looks like they did a good job. Just wanted to add some facts: here is the part number: 5097104-AA https://www.mopargenuineparts.com/?g...FQEoGgodFUYJng
I think mine came without an actual gasket (looked like gasket sealer only) from the factory. Even though they listed the part number on my customer pickup invoice, I think they actually just put RTV back on it instead of the gasket. I cannot see the gasket just the sealer.
I went to the parts department after I picked up the car to look at a new gasket so I could post something here. The parts department said they did not stock the gasket and did not have one. So I assume dealers might just be using RTV to make this repair. It is not leaking now but I have only driven a few miles since picking it up yesterday.
Also at the dealer there was a Crossfire in for service, I popped the hood and it was leaking oil in the same place. I think any DIY er can easily replace this gasket. I takes a torque screw driver and a special 6 pointed socket. I am sure someone on here knows the exact wrenches.
Good luck. Check your and reply back: IS YOURS LEAKING?
My car is like brand new and has 9400 miles.
