This was in my thoughts as well. I was thinking the old flat black style of Corvette side pipes but done with either powder coat or some other nicer looking finish. The one thing that keep me from seriously looking into it was ..what about the rear end? The rear setup is still very unique looking and it makes the rear of the car. So you would have to figure out what to do with the empty space where the exhaust tips once were. It would also depend on the sound. I wouldn't want to go to that expense only to have it sound crappy.
