Side exhaust?

I still kind of liked the way the V10 sounds with it's stock "rear exit" exhaust system.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vP6kIpe3fcs
Dodge spent a ton of money "perfecting" the sound of the side exit exhaust on the newer Vipers, but I like the old rear exit sound better.
Still, I'd like to hear our V6 exhaling thru a nice set of headers and header "style" side pipes. With a "crossover" pipe installed, it might not sound too bad. Maybe it would get old after awhile as an everyday driver, but I bet it would make a hell-of-a-wail running wide open on a track. Maybe we can talk HDDP into a set for his race car.

that has to sound super sick. and as far as I know even running dumps are illegal, the exhaust has to exit behind the passenger compartment. But with an offroad h pipe, and dumps on my cobra, it was a head turner. An older guy at work used to drive next to me just to hear it.
