I partially agree, I prefer the "original" styled Vipers more. But then that's probably why I purchased a 96 GTS. And even though nothing sounds like a big block V8 bellowing unfettered thru "storm drain sized" side pipes (listen to a 427 AC Cobra)

Dodge spent a ton of money "perfecting" the sound of the side exit exhaust on the newer Vipers, but I like the old rear exit sound better.
Still, I'd like to hear our V6 exhaling thru a nice set of headers and header "style" side pipes. With a "crossover" pipe installed, it might not sound too bad. Maybe it would get old after awhile as an everyday driver, but I bet it would make a hell-of-a-wail running wide open on a track. Maybe we can talk HDDP into a set for his race car.
