The original series Viper had side pipes with an exit in front of the rear wheels. The AAR 'Cuda and Trans/Am Challengers from the early '70s had those cool trumpet exhausts with exits in front of the rear wheels (man, I love those cars).

I'm with patpur on spoiling what I think is a gorgeous design of the back of the Crossfire. Hell, I waffled for along time about getting the Magnaflow exhaust because I thought it ruined the look of the trapazoid (or whatever ya call it) stock exhaust tips. Of course, with the sound I'm getting and the large oval tips of the Magnaflows, I'm perfectly content. Adding the spiffy little diffusors helped a lot too.
