Lighting gremlins
Coupe is back to Manhattan dealer for the fourth time. Electrical problem. Set the alarm, 3 flashes car locks tail lights flicker for about three minutes cannot disarm alarm while lights are flickering. Lights stop flickering car will disarm lights flickering again for three minuts +/- can hear mechanical clicking sound coming from trunk area. Related problem, flip turn signal on right, dash indicator flashes rapidly, step on brake turn indicator on dash goes out, take foot off brake, make right turn DOME LIGHT COMES ON !
They have replaced fuses and six bulbs in the tail lights, finally on the last drop off all the symptoms showed themselves while the service mgr. was there (before that the symptoms would not be evident and I'm sure they thought I was nuts)
Anyhow the beast is still in the shop and they are still scratching there nuts trying to figure out what is wrong.
I would love to take the answer to this problem from this forum and hand it to the service mgr.
Oh yea, last gremlin, the alarm doesn't chirp when set and the panic will not activate on the key fob, when you get the alarm to go off it sounds like a stangled cow.
