Lacer, you may also want to consider TVT Designs' ECU download tool ($150 US). I just purchased one, and I'm waiting for it to clear customs from Germany. But the idea is that you use this cable/software combo with a PC or laptop. You download your ECU into a file on the computer. Then email it to LET or whomever your tuner is and they will email you back a file for you to upload to the car. This way you aren't shipping your ECU all over the world, it never leaves your car.
I decided to go this route because I have a datalogger and can send along log information to the tuner for a more custom tune. But I'm sure it would work even without the log data. You could include a dyno run with AFR data instead (which is cheaper than most dataloggers). Even if you don't want to datalog or dyno, LET probably has a tune for your mods. When I asked Jake (from LET/Eurocharged), he said he already had a tune setup for my mods, and he would tweak it with the data I send him.
