I left my exhaust original and mounted two hitch assemblies one on either side of the exhaust. I have two tie bars that are pinned in place like a normal that are bolted to a cross bar with a center mounted ball. The only things I have left for the hitch are to bye 2, 3/4" bolts for the cross member and painting the crossmember. It is very clean, not in the air flow and nearly unnoticable when not installed. I even reinstalled the plastic shields on the bottom. I'm looking for two little plastic incert caps to close the hitches when not in use and a small trailer to modify with a contico box a wheel rack.
