I bought the Curt 11013 hitch that I then modified. Here's my post: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...installed.html

This unit (Curt 11013) is selling for $146.73 at Amazon.com with Free Shipping. There may be better prices...but that’s sure not going to break my bank. Glad to see this thread re-awakening.

Isn't it strange that I have a hitch on mine that works perfectly fine. I haul a small custom made trailer to carry extra gear on long excursions. Not much difference between a motorcycle trailer.
Never tell someone that something won't work when you have never tried.

You are responding to a comment made eleven years ago. That guy sold his Crossfire and left long ago.
Of course, even back then, he was wrong - by that time, at least one of us had a hitch (home made) that he towed a small trailer with.

It's not in the way if you build it right. Mine bolts on and I pull a small cargo trailer that I pulled with my Ultra Classic. I towed it all over north America. The crossfire is just a fun car with no trunk. Tow if you want to.Look in my profile pics
