Had my wheels rebalanced today and all four wheels were out of balance the front ones being the worst and the guy stated that it was enough out to cause a bus to vibrate.
One thing the guy did comment on was that they had only balance the wheel on a single plane i.e. they only had weights on the inside edge of the wheel which he dosen't think gives a true balance.
The machine he had used the holes in the wheel that you use to bolt to the car to clamp it to the machine rather than the centre hole which maybe also helped.
Anyway I'm glad I've got it sorted and I'm going to kick up hell with the place that fitted the tyres that cost me a new wheel and a new tyre.
