Well, I’ve come to that point of the year where the insurance needs to be sorted. Being a stingy type, I’m a bit annoyed that the premium has gone up somewhat this year. I’m not going to pay upwards of £660 if I can help it.

So far, I’m down to around the £330 mark for fully comprehensive. Can anyone recommend any cheaper options? Being self-employed, there is a portion of business mileage involved, but not a huge amount. I estimate around 1000 miles a year if that.
