Default Re: Disconnecting the Rear Wing & Alarm

I don't understand your point. You got the car for you. You don't like the wing. Great.

If you say you don't care what other people think, why are you worrying about a wing that only goes up when your doing 65 mph or more, when you can't even see it? If you know it comes up only above 65 mph, whats the big deal? Any time your looking at the car, it's gotta be down because it's not doing 65 mph. Would it make you feel better knowing its down when your doing 70 mph? At least you know its there for your safety. Only other people can see your car and the wing when your going that fast, so obviously you have to be worrying about what they think.

I just think its stupid and dangerous, not to mention, kind of ridiculous when it's such a nice and unique feature. I can't see how anyone can honestly say it looks ricey. How does it look ricey when theres NO Honda, Nissan, or ANY rice car with a moving wing?? I don't know about you but the last time I checked at Pep Boys there was no universal moving wings!!! lol

No offense Andrew or Theotherbrit but I think you guys are foolish and taking an unneccessary risk. We all remember the TT. And I dont mean to argue about this.., but I like the wing A LOT, for both asthetic and safety reasons. I don't want to see anyone get hurt, which is what I think would happen if turning the wing off was widespread. Ya know? Most likely you guys will be fine, but if theres 100 wings out there turned off.. sooner or later someone will get into trouble under some high speed breaking, or any other of a number of situations. Plus it looks great.
