Re: Disconnecting the Rear Wing & Alarm
The TT had problems at speeds on the German autobans, 120 mph plus. The wing is not a safety feature on U.S. roads. As I said before:
"Mechanically and aerodynamically at speeds under 80-90 mph the wing has little effect. At these speeds mechanical grip determined by chassis geometry and tyres are more important. Some of the 'squirlyness' folks talk about are more than likely a combination of tyre and road surface."
The wing can be seen from inside the car and partially blocks the rear view as I said in an earlier post. It rattles.
The unique feature was an afterthought by DC. The show car did not have it.
I want to diconnect the wiring for the wing, not have silly alarm go off at 80 mph and be done with it.
