I SENT BRANDON A E-MAIL ON 4/13/09 RE: A 1/8" TO A 3/16" GAP BETWEEN THE FACE OF S/C CLUTCH AND THE REAR PLASTIC PLATE OF THE NEW MIDSIZE S/C PULLEY. HE RETURNED MY E-MAIL THE SAME DAY AND ASKED ME HOW MANY SPACERS I USED AND DID THE PULLEY WORK.ON THE EVENING OF APRIL 13TH AT 11:32 PM I SENT ANOTHER E-MAIL SAYING I DID NOT USE ANY SPACERS THATS NOT THE PROBLEM. ITS THE GAP THAT I CAN'T REDUCE BECAUSE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MACHINED TO FIT.
TODAY SAT. THE 18TH 4:55 PM EST I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM. I TOLD HIM IN MY LAST E-MAIL THAT THE PULLEY WORKS NOW BUT IT HAS TO BE PUTTING TO MUCH STRESS ON THE PULLEYS PLASTIC BACK PLATE AND I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL LAST.I RESENT MY LAST E-MAIL TODAY.
WHEN I INSTALLED THE ORIGINAL 63 MM CODE 3 S/C PUULLEY, IT CAME WITH INSTRUCTIONS THAT THE SPACE BETWEEN THE PULLEY AND THE CLUTCH SHOULD BE 20 TO 30 THOUSANTS.JUST A HEADS UP TO EVERYBODY, FROM WHAT I'M READING AND EXPERENCING THE CODE 3 PULLEYS ARE A PROBLEM AND SO IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
READY TO PUT ON THE 178 CRANK PULLEY REMOVE THE CODE 3 PULLEY AND SEND IT BACK AND GET A REFUND.LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS. "PISSED IN N.Y. ILLCYA
