Why is there a concern that heated seats gives poor gas milage ?
Proper tire pressure and smoothness will elevate your fuel milage as I have gotten as much as 33 MPG with 3000 mi on a 2004 stick/auto. The car is slippery enough that wind doesn't effect the milage much.

Fuel nossel rate of kickback at different Stations will confuse your computations as well.
