After 2 accidents and wanting to use a 2 wheel dyno, i finally decided to remove the Stability and traction control. Not having 100% control over the car made me extremly uneasy i love this car and want to keep it as long as i can. And hearing those rear brakes grind when i do my burnouts at the track just hurt so bad and had to be hard on the axles.
Total time was only 15min most of it was figuring out how to get under console to get the yaw sensor, then unhooking the wire for Traction under the hood.
took it for a test drive, did a few figure 8's, and full trottle hits from a dead stop... was still leaving rubber atfer 50 mph. But basically now the car does nothing other than what you make it. No more of that unnerving feeling when the stability kicks in and snaps you out of a controlled slide.
