I wanted to keep mine looking factory OEM but not if I had to use a clutch fan. the only fan and shround I found that would work was a clutch type fan which is what I suspect is in this car. I have two 12" electric fans that I intend to use unless I can find a MB electric fan and shroud that will work.
The C43 uses a clutch fan, hooks to the water pump. You may be able to fine some very thin electric fans, non OEM, and make them work though.
