i don't want to disprove anything. i just feel that this is too far out to be accurate. even with 265+HP and 265+TQ the LS1 trans ams were capable of cracking the 12 second 1/4 mark bone stock.

It could have been a LT1 series transams, those were also available with hood scoops. This was a possibilty.

I know with a bad driver they can be beaten, i had a buddy with a 94 LT1 Camaro Z28 who lost a few times to a Civic Hatch with a B16 Swap. not a whole lotta car to beat.

If you won, good. i just dont want everyone here to think they can run a vette or a LS1 Camaro, and win. because it generally won't happen.

Hell, when i had my Z28 i raced a Turbo RSX on the Hiwghway, and beat him to 140. IMO, that should never have happened.
