I've never popped it off to look. I figured it was a simple question.

I've been reading at mp3car.com for a while about dash and bezel fabrication. Some of these guys use plastic welding with soldering iron looking tools, ABS cement, and ABS plastic parts they get at $1 store to modify the dash bezels. I think I'm going to give it a go for myself to modify my dash for double-din and moving the switches to replace the ash-tray and airbag light. I found a spare center tower dash piece and bezel at a local pick-a-part.

Does anyone know what the depth of the opening is? I mean what's the maximum depth a new double-din deck can be?
