my car is a 2008 limited coupe and the tint is as following


20% brow on the front winshield

20% on driver and pass windows

2 layers of 20% on the corner window

1 layer of 20% and 1 layer of 5%.

the reason i have 20% is the car i bought from texas brand new and the dealer like to tint all the cars with a 20% tint.

i needed something stronger in the back to hide my system and reduce sunlight within the cabin. i also want the tint strip at the top to block sunlight in my vision.

cost is hard to say some shops will do a tint all around for around $250-300 and some vary my local shop has a tint special for $150.

they charged me $30 to do the tint strip up front, and like $20 to do the corner window and $30 to do the rear window.

make sure tint is not metallic as that interferes with radar detector performance. Make sure to read local laws and see what the limits are.
