I worked at a tint shop here in Indy for about 2.5 years and I can speak on Indiana lawa as well as a few other things I have read through. First of all, my personal car, as well as every other car I have owned, has been tinted in 20% high performance film (it is a black carbon film that WILL NOT fade under any circumstance) feel free to take a look in my gallery, since it is a black car it makes it look a little darker, but in my eyes it is perfect.

IN MOST STATES it is not the % of light that the film will let in, it is whether or not the officer can identify the driver and passenger in the car. This kind of sucks with our cars, since the windows are so small already 20% is significantly darker than on an SUV with a huge open windshield and large windows.

As far as being easy to take off, not a ******* chance. If you buy good film and it has a chance to adhere properly, the glue becomes a major pain in the a$$ to take off. The film will peel right off, but the glue will be the culprit.
