He says exhaust really doesn't add any horses to the engine but does allow the engine to work less thus getting more horse power, where you want it, to the wheels. So according to him the Borla system isn't much of an improvement. Your's really beats the Factory in price and most likley performance too. Love it.
I heard the same thing from my exhaust guys when they looked at the picture of the Borla system before they built my Magnaflow... They came to the conclusion that Borla had done the pipe bends and added the extra rsonator to limit the sound, but it defeated the purpose of a "straight thru" exhaust system...
I'm extremely happy with mine now... just need to custom make the tips next week... Will try to post a sound file later today...
