Default Re: Roadster Hardtop?

Tighed1, removable hardtops have been available for most sports cars for over 55 years.
They were first offered to improve year-round weather protection, but now they're probably most desirable as a security feature since convertible tops are so weather resistant.
I know if I owned a roadster, and had to drive it all winter here in the North, I would prefer a removable hardtop simply to protect my canvas/vinyl top from the elements. if I lived where you do, it wouldn't be an issue, but it might make your rear window last longer.
Some people feel they improve upon the looks of a standard fold down top. But fortunately the Crossfire has a nice looking top so it's really not easy to make it look any better than it already does.
