Roadster Hardtop?
Do the 2008 Roadsters have an option for a Hardtop? I was reading they were offering a hardtop on the 08s, but I can't find anything about it on the Chrysler site?

I don't know why they would offer a hard top on a car that they droped. Keep looking there is meany here that would like one !!
I did a Google search and I searched the forum. I really didn't find anything in the Forum but the google search had something about new options for 08 and the hardtop was mentioned. It may have been an article built on sheer speculation. I'll repeat the google search and see if I can find the reference.

did someone say hardtop? i think im hearing things coming from outside the cloth top, has anyone ever had their top shake violently like when the tent was shaking in that movie the blair witch.
I still think the C1 "Corvette" removable hardtop would look great on a Crossfire.

I think the "curve" of the roof would go perfectly with the XF's "curvy" rear end.

Is there a problem with noise or something with the roadsters? I'm considering getting one and would like to know what to expect.
Have seen plenty of threads on the hardtop subject. Just wondering why people want them.

Tighed1, removable hardtops have been available for most sports cars for over 55 years.
They were first offered to improve year-round weather protection, but now they're probably most desirable as a security feature since convertible tops are so weather resistant.
I know if I owned a roadster, and had to drive it all winter here in the North, I would prefer a removable hardtop simply to protect my canvas/vinyl top from the elements. if I lived where you do, it wouldn't be an issue, but it might make your rear window last longer.
Some people feel they improve upon the looks of a standard fold down top. But fortunately the Crossfire has a nice looking top so it's really not easy to make it look any better than it already does.
